Why is the product ID different to the one I ordered?

We list some products on our website under multiple product IDs to allow easier searching for our customers.   Some products are compatible with multiple devices and the product will have an ID for each device that it is compatible with.  However, we have it stocked in our warehouse under the master ID that is shown in your Order and shipment confirmation emails.
